Find The Paintbrushes On Disney's Tom Sawyer Island

There is a great treat in store for any child that finds a paintbrush on Disney's Tom Sawyer Island. The treat changes but when we were there the kids got a pass that gave them immediate access to any ride in Magic Kingdom, including the Speedway that had no fastpass!

Difficulty: Moderately Challenging
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • A need for adventure.
  • Access to Magic Kingdom
  • A tall person to look on all shelves, caves, baskets and cannons.
  1. Step 1

Okay so here is what we learned. There are a total of 10 brushes. When you get on the raft to cross, ask the guide how many have been found for the day. Get to the island early and you will have real luck.

  2. Step 2

Then when you get onto the island search with strategy. Looks in every area that has a smear of white paint near it. In the caves check holes in the wood or the tops of the shelves. Some are up higher then a little one will see.

  3. Step 3

If you find more then one, split up the ride back. It is one brush per family. When they ride back the designated child has to give the brush to the guide and they will be given a ticket. They will give you a voucher for the amount of people in your party, not how many are with you. We divided in two, told the guide we had 7 each time and got two vouchers for 7 even though the groups were much smaller when handing in the brush. Enjoy your treats.

Tips & Warnings
  • Look up high.
  • Check everything, bring a cellphone with a light or a small flashlight.
  • One per family so divide up if you find more then one.
