Sometimes it can be hard to exercise more with a busy schedule, but here is a way to add a workout to your daily routine.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Wake up an hour earlier.
One way to really get the blood pumping and give you a great outlook for the rest of the day is a morning jog. The morning time is great to go for a jog because you can take a shower and get ready right afterwords. If you exercise midday, you will have to shower and get ready again, that is if you have anymore plans for the rest of them day. Plus you will have your workout down and will not keep putting it off all day.

  2. Step 2

    Buy a treadmill.
A treadmill is a great way to workout. You cannot give yourself the excuse that it is raining, since it can be done indoors. Also I would suggest keeping the treadmill in the house and not somewhere outside. This way you will pass it throughout the day like a constant reminder. By seeing the treadmill during the day you will better your chances of actually completing your workout.

  3. Step 3

    Make it a habit.
No matter when you decide to workout keep that schedule. You want to make your exercise a habit. Also it will not do you much good if you only workout once a month. While exercising some is better than not at all, you probably will not see very large results. By having your workout scheduled you will have time already set aside for a home gym, treadmill, etc. So try moving somethings around your schedule so you can start exercising more.

on 7/15/2009 Honestly it takes me so long to get ready and go to the gym or even for a run! I found ExerciseTV about a year ago and now I don't have an excuse to not exercise. I just turn on the TV and go to Video on Demand and have hundreds of videos available to me for free. It's like having a personal trainer but minus the fees. Plus, the video lengths vary from 6 minutes to 60 minutes so I can use ones that fit into my schedule when I want! Right now they have Celebrity Trainer workouts with trainers like Jennifer Galardi (Adrien Grenier's trainer) who kick my butt into shape! Go to www.exercisetv.tv
