How to Make a Server Game in Battle.Net
Battle.net is an online service managed by Blizzard Entertainment that allows gamers to play their online games. Currently, Battle.net supports the Blizzard flagship titles such as "Warcraft," "Diablo" and "Starcraft." Battle.net is one of the best places to play due to its ease in accessibility and, most of all, because it's free. By accessing this online service, you can connect to a community of more than 1 million players all over the world and come together to play your favorite computer game.

Go to battle.net (see Resources below) and click on the registration button on the front page. You will be prompted to sign up for the service, which is absolutely free. All you need to do is agree to its Terms of Use, then fill in the necessary information on their proper fields. It is important to have a working email in case you ever lose or forget your password.

Boot up one of your Blizzard games. Battle.net can operate only with "Warcraft," "Diablo" or "Starcraft" titles. No other games are supported by Battle.net since it is operated by Blizzard Entertainment, which own the previously mentioned titles.

Wait for the Blizzard Updater to finish its search for new updates. You cannot play on Battle.net with previous software versions of its games. They must be updated to the latest version to be playable on its servers. Once the Blizzard Updater has finished processing you will enter the log in page.

Log into Battle.net with the user name and password with which you signed up. Although the service provided is free, you cannot create server games unless you are registered into its system.

Make a server game by pressing the "Create" button, which will open up the Game Settings window. Adjust any of the settings that you see, such as difficulty and number of players, and add any relevant information such as game name, map title and password for private games. When you are finished, submit these settings and a Battle.net server game will be created.
