If you are a coupon user like myself, you understand the value of saving even just a few cents. Especially when it's something that you will use or need many of. So what if you could not only save with the coupons you are using, but also save money when buying the coupons? This article will give you some ideas on how to get coupons for less than a sunday paper!

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Ebay is an excellent source for buying multiple copies of Sunday Inserts for less than a paper. Today I purchased a total of 40 inserts (20 of each type of insert in todays paper) for less than $14.00. When dividing this it totaled to about $.70 per paper's worth of coupons. My papers are currently selling for $2.00 a piece which means I got a $1.30 savings per paper!! An added bonus: I don't have to use space in my recycle bin for all the extra papers I would have normally had to buy to get these inserts.
1.) Log into ebay, if you don't have an account it's very easy to follow their steps to creating a free account!
2.) In the search menu type "Sunday Inserts" plus the date for the inserts you would like to purchase.
3.) Find the deal that works best for you - many people don't need as many papers as I do - we stock up on the good deals and donate what we can't use to the local shelter.
4.) Either select the Bid or the Buy It Now option. I prefer Buy It Now for coupons because you don't have to wait for the end of an auction to get your coupons shipped.
5.) Follow prompts to finish placing your order and paying.

  2. Step 2

Another great way to obtain coupons is buy looking for them at the grocery store. Many stores have what are known as "blinkies". These are contained in a small red box with a blinking red light to get your attention, usually located right in front of the item that the coupon is for. Even if there is not a good deal on the item, it is wise to take a few of these coupons when you see them to use at a later time in conjunction with a sale. Many times you can get an item free or very cheap by doing this.

  3. Step 3

If you are particular about the coupons you clip and save, another great idea is to look at the preview for that weeks paper. Follow the link below for an excellent preview source. Look through the coupons that will be out that week and use a coupon clipping service such as www.thecouponclippers.com to order only those coupons that you will use.

Tips & Warnings
  • Clipping coupons and using them in conjunction with a store sale can often mean very cheap to free items - especially if your stores double coupon value.
