To restore the shine of your vehicle, you need to wax it. Waxing removes water stains and other stuff on the paint surface to make that car look brand new again. So let's get started. Just follow the steps below.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Apply Souveran paste wax to the polishing pad, dip the corner of the pad onto the wax until it is evenly coated on the pad. Apply the wax on the surface of the vehicle. Move in a back and forth or circular motion. Apply thin layers. Don't work the wax in since it's a top coat.

  2. Step 2

Wipe off the wax immediately after applying it with a microfiber towel. Use two different towels.

  3. Step 3

To use a foam applicator, it is the same with using a regular polishing pad.

  4. Step 4

To use a porta cable waxing machine, use a microfiber glove and pop the wax out of the bottle. Apply the wax to the pad. Apply just a thin coat. Set the speed on the porta cable to three and apply it. Now use a different polishing disc and set the porta cable to four or five and go over the section you applied the wax to remove it. Go over it until a high gloss appears.

  5. Step 5

To apply liquid wax, pour some liquid wax onto the polishing pad and do the same thing as you would with regular wax. Apply only one coat. Apply only thin coats, not thick ones. Apply to whole vehicle before removal. Swipe your finger across the haze, if the surface is clean, then remove the wax with a microfiber towel.

  6. Step 6

To use a porta cable, set the porta cable to three and apply thin coats of wax onto the paint. Use the porta cable to work the wax in. Switch out the polishing discs and set the porta cable to four or five and remove the wax. You are done.
