You can learn how to cure gout naturally. Gout is a form of arthritis that causes a great deal of pain. Gout is normally found in the foot. Gout is caused when healthy uric acid levels rise too high. Uric acid naturally forms in our bodies from the food we eat and from hereditary factors. A proper diet can prevent, cure and reduce gout.

  1. Step 1

    FOODS TO AVOID - Stop eating foods that are high in uric acid. If you want to naturally relieve gout, you need to change your diet and reduce purines.

    Foods that are high in uric acid are foods such as meats that are high in protein like poultry, beef, fish and even tofu. Foods that are very high in purines such as animal kidneys, brains and liver. Also limit meat based products such as gravy.

    Also avoid seafood.

    Also avoid vegetables such as cauliflower, mushrooms, asparagus and spinach.

    Avoid all foods with fructose, and high fructose corn syrup and sucrose.

  2. Step 2

    FOODS TO EAT - Eat foods that reduce uric acid. There are many foods that you can eat to prevent or cure goat naturally.

    Cheese and dairy products are excellent foods to eat to avoid gout.

    Carbonated water and sugar are also good for gout as long as they do not contain high fructose corn syrup, fructose or sucrose.

    Cherries or cherry juice is thought to be great for prevention or reduction of gout and gout symptoms.

    Celery is also another great food for gout sufferers.
