To "shoop" is an Internet slang word (see Resources) for editing a photo is Photoshop or other photo editing software. It is also the act of letting out one's inner laser. When referring to an edited photo, the word is often used as a verb. When letting out one's inner laser, it is used as a sound. Both are simple and easy to do.

      Open a photo in any type of editing software. Many people who are not experts in photo editing software choose a photo that is can be edited in a funny manner.

      Decide on how you will edit the photo. For general photo touch-up, use the automated settings by clicking on "adjust" and one step photo fix.

      Edit with text. This is a great way to edit a photo for fun. Simply choose the shape tool, and select the chat bubble.

      Place the cursor on the photo in the desired location. Left click the mouse, and drag the chat bubble to the desired size.

      Select the text tool. Choose the font and the text color. Type in the text. Move the text over the chat bubble, and resize if needed. Merge and save the image.

    Inner Laser

      Hold your arms straight out in front of you. Clasp your hands together.

      Straighten out your index fingers so that they are together, but pointing straight in front of you. Keeping the thumbs together, raise them straight up. It should now appear as if you are pointing a fake gun.

      Point your pretend gun at objects, real or imagined. Release your inner laser by saying, "shoop, shoop, shoop" in a high pitched robot like voice.

      Relax your arms by placing them back at your sides. Quiet your voice and put your inner laser away.
