Step 1
Hit the links at The Falls Golf Club at Lake Las Vegas. A scenic, challenging course that was designed by former PGA Tour great Tom Weiskopf, the course is laid out over the desert and a nearby mountain and is highlighted by the par-5 12th hole. The hole requires the golfer hit the ball uphill and over a treebox, just to reach the green.
-
Step 2
Visit Reflection Bay at Lake Las Vegas, just a short distance from The Falls Golf Club. Designed by Jack Nicklaus, it has the look and feel of Palm Beach, Florida. The real challenge here is keeping the ball on the green and out of the water, especially since five of the holes have a water feature.
-
Step 3
Check out the Wolfe Course at Paiute Resort. This is the longest golf course in the state, at more than 7,500 yards, and is known for its tough par-4 holes and the tough 15th hole, which is a par-3, but has water hazards in front of both the green and the hole.
-
Step 4
Spend some time at the Bali Hai Golf Club. The course has a South Pacific feel to it, with its intricate design and lush surroundings. If you’re staying on the Strip, it's close by.
-
Step 5
Finish your trip at the Las Vegas Golf Course, one of the classic layouts in the area. It’s well-known for its abundance of par-4 holes, a total of nine all together and the 190-yard 11th, known as the Lagoon. The course's landscape features palm trees and flowers.
