Things You'll Need:
- A computer with Word software
- Business card paper (Avery brand works best)
-
Step 1
Open Word and go to Tools > Letters and Mailings > Envelopes and Labels, to open the Envelopes and Labels dialogue box.
-
Step 2
When the dialogue box is open, click on the lower right hand portion marked "Labels."
-
Step 3
In the next dialogue box, scroll down until you find the correct Avery product number for the business card paper you purchased. Highlight it and then click the OK button.
-
Step 4
Back in the Envelopes and Labels dialogue box, ensure that the address field is blank and "Full page of the same label" is the only option selected.
-
Step 5
Click the New Document button, which will open a new Word document set up in the appropriate template.
-
Step 6
Enter your desired text into the first business card space. Once you are satisfied with it's layout and appearance, copy and paste your results into the other spaces.
-
Step 7
Print a test copy on regular paper. Then hold it over the business card paper to ensure that the text lines up with the interiors of the individual business cards.
-
Step 8
Print sheets of business cards one at a time, then bend them at the perforations to get individual business cards.
