Be sure to make a list and write down contact information for the designers so you will have it later.
   
   Another thing you can use the internet for is finding designers who are more affordable than others. Even if the designer is not necessarily from your area, you could plan a short trip if it’s worth it or rely on the telephone or e-mail to communicate with the designer. This can result in you finding a really great deal on a beautiful dress.

3. Put the Word Out. Use your network of friends, family members and acquaintances to get the word out that you’re looking for an affordable wedding dress designer. Have people ask around or take down names if they hear of a designer you might like to speak to. You may even find that someone you know knows a designer that will create a beautiful dress for you that is also affordable. Give your friends, family members and acquaintances permission to give your phone number out if necessary.
