The Samsung Eternity has LED lights along the bottom of the phone that light up while the phone is ringing. It is preset with five colors, but with a little know how, you can create any color you'd like.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Samsung Eternity Cell Phone
  1. Step 1

From the main menu, press "dial" and enter *#197328640# and that will take you to the service menu.

  2. Step 2

    Press "2" for Version Information.

  3. Step 3

    Press "6" for RGB LED.

  4. Step 4

    Press "2" for Color Tune.

  5. Step 5

Press any number 2 - 6 to change that color setting.

  6. Step 6

Change the percentage of red, green or blue by pressing either 1, 2 or 3 respectively.

  7. Step 7

Tap at the bottom of the screen where the cursor is flashing.

  8. Step 8

Press the "abc" button at the bottom of the screen and choose "Numeric." Enter a numeric percentage depending on the color you are trying to achieve and press OK. Press OK again.

  9. Step 9

The light will change colors immediately. When you're finished setting up the colors, press the red "end call" button to take you back to your main menu.

  10. Step 10

To choose the color you have just set up, go to Menu - Settings - Display and Light - Illumination and choose the color that you just edited in the service menu. Press Save.

Tips & Warnings
  • If you'd like a particular color, find out ahead of time which percentages of red blue and green are used to create that color. A simple example is you can create purple with 50% red and 50% blue.
  • When the phone is turned off and back on, the color changes will reset back to the factory default and will have to be set again.
