What's a lotion bar? Lotion bars are lotion in the form of a bar! Lotion bars are easy to make and are easy you use. Simply take the lotion bar and rub in over your skin.

Lotion bars are a great way to pamper yourself and make your skin beautiful. Lotion bars also make great gifts!

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Sauce Pan
  • Container with a Lid
  1. Step 1

    Recipe #1 -Simple Lotion Bars

    * 1 Part Oil (Almond, Olive, Sunflower, Baby, Coconut, etc)
    * 1 Part Beeswax
    * 1 Part Cocoa Butter or Shea butter

    In a saucepan, melt the oil, beeswax, and butter in a sauce pan until well blended. You can also add some fragrance oil or essential oil at this time.

    Poor into a bar form for container. If the bar Lotion Bar becomes too hard you can remelt it and add more oil.

  2. Step 2

    Recipe #2 - Beeswax Lotion Bars

    This recipe is great for those that don't like Cocoa Butter

    * 2 Parts Coconut Oil
    * 1 Part Shea Butter
    * 2 Parts Beeswax
    * 1 1/2 parts Oil (Apricot Kernal, Grape Seed, OR Olive, etc)

    Combine all the ingredients into a sauce pan and melt until combined and smooth. At this point you can also stir in a little fragrance or essential oils. Pour into mold or container and let cool off.

  3. Step 3

    Recipe #3 - Aloe Vera Lotion Bars

    * 6 ounces Cocoa Butter
    * 5 ounces Shea Butter
    * 5 ounces Aloe Vera Gel
    * 1 ounce Oil (Grape Seed, Almond, OR Wheat Germ, etc)

    Combine all the ingredients into a sauce pan and melt until combined and smooth. At this point you can also stir in a little fragrance or essential oils. Pour into mold or container and let cool off.
