Because Twiggy's look was ultra-mod and super '60s, it can be perfect for costume parties or special events. Even though it's not for every day wear, give it a try just for fun and stand out in a crowd!

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Extra Long Black Lashes (strips)
  • Very Black Mascara
  • Eyelash Glue
  • Lash Curler
  • Black Liquid Eyeliner
  1. Step 1

Apply your makeup as usual. For a true 'mod' look, keep the finish clean and fresh with a nude, glossy lip.

  2. Step 2

Apply a thin line of black eyeliner to the top and bottom lids, using the tip of the liquid eyeliner brush. Then 'draw' false lashes on the bottom of the eyelids with your liquid eyeliner, starting at the bottom lashline.

  3. Step 3

Curl your natural lashes using an eyelash curler. For best results, heat the rubber strip on the curler using your blowdryer.

  4. Step 4

Next, apply a thin bead of the eyelash glue to the strip of lashes. Carefully place the lash strip onto your top lid, as close to the lash line as possible. Allow the glue to dry for several seconds.

  5. Step 5

Apply a heavy coat of black mascara to the top lashes, do not apply mascara to the bottom lashes.

Tips & Warnings
  • While hard to find, Yardley actually manufactured 'Twiggy Lashes'. If you can find them, you are way ahead of the pack when pulling your Twiggy look together!
  • Always use the manufacturer's instructions when using eyelash glue.
