If you have a Gmail account it is easy to use its account storage as a hard drive. Right now Gmail is offering upto 7GB of storage. This won't be a place to store everything, but you can put many things there that you need to access from other computers. To do this you just need to download one program and you can use Gmail as a hard drive.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

The first step to use Gmail as a hard drive is to download and install Gmail Drive. I will put a link in the resources section. Unzip and install the program. After it is installed you will see a new drive in Mycomputer called GMail Drive.

  2. Step 2

Double click on Gmail Drive and log in using your Gmail information. After it logs into Gmail just drag and drop files into the virtual drive. The program will upload automatically. You are now uploading files to your Gmail hard drive.

  3. Step 3

When you log into you Gmail account you will see the files. They will look like regular emails. Give them a label so you find them later and you are done. That is how you make Gmail in to a hard drive.
