Troubleshooting a Frigidaire Gas Range

Although some issues with Frigidaire gas ranges may be cause for a service call, you should try to first determine if the problem can be easily resolved. 1. Set the clock of your Frigidaire gas range. The gas range will not turn on unless the time is initially set. To set, select the "Clock" dial and arrow through the numbers until the correct time is reached.

2. Check that all of the wires of the Frigidaire gas range are connected in the rear of the appliance. If you notice a connection is loose, call for service.

3. Clean the burner ports of your Frigidaire gas range. Clogged burner ports will cause the burners to not ignite properly. Use mild soap and hot water on each burner after removing the grates. For a large amount of build up, oven cleaner can be applied. You can also run a self cleaning cycle for the oven portion of the range if you run into any problems.
