How to Remove a Danby Dishwasher Spray Arm
Dishwashers are simple to use, their cleaning power easily out-performs washing by hand and energy-saving dishwashers may be better for the environment. However, appliance breakdowns, part-failure and glitches are often the price for convenience. Fortunately, many dishwasher repairs can be done yourself. Disconnect the power source by unplugging the dishwasher, removing the fuse or flipping the circuit breaker to cut power.

Remove the lower dish rack from the washer.

Remove the spray tower in the center of the spray arm by unscrewing it by hand. Depending on the model, your Danby dishwasher may not have a spray tower.

Use the screwdriver to remove the bolt in the center of the spray arm.

Pull up on the spray arm to lift it up and out. You may need to gently rock the arm back and forth to remove it.
