How to Make a 21st Birthday Balloon Hat

If you've ever been to the popular restaurant and bar, Senor Frogs, you have probably seen balloon hats galore. Balloons and parties go together, no matter how old you are. Balloon hats are fun, colorful and inexpensive. They can also make you easy to find in a crowd.

Instructions

1. Blow up a long balloon, leaving a little space in the end with no air. Tie the ends of the blown-up balloon together to form the piece that goes around your head. If you can't find long enough balloons, use two balloons and tie the ends together to form a circle. Never blow the balloons up completely full.

2. Blow up two more balloons. When you get to about 3 or 4 inches from the end of the balloon, hold your hand over the balloon so the air bypasses a section and only blows up the very end into a little ball. Tie off the balloon.

3. Tie the end of one balloon around the knot where you tied the original balloon together. Wrap the tied end of the second balloon half way around the circle from the first one and tie it on.

4. Loosely twist the two balloons together over the circle. When you get about 2 inches away from the empty part of the balloon, twist them together a few times so the hat stays together.
