A kettlebell is a Russian cast iron weight that resembles a small cannonball with a handle. The Russian kettlebell has been popularized by Pavel Tsatsouline, who touts its effectiveness for strength training. Using kettlebells in a fitness routine can lead to strength, fat loss, increased balance and power. Pavel Tsatsouline offers intensive training workshops that lead to RKC kettlebell certification. Personal trainers often attend RKC kettlebell certification training workshops so they can learn how to use kettlebells in their client's workout routines.
