Juggling is a skill that requires incredible hand-eye coordination and lots of practice in order to master. If you have learned basic juggling techniques and you want to challenge yourself, you may choose to attempt juggling seven balls at once. Juggling seven balls is no easy task, and can be extremely difficult even for a very accomplished juggler. By using these tips and putting in a large amount of work, you could learn to juggle seven balls at once.

Difficulty: Challenging
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Begin by perfecting the cascading technique. Cascading is when you toss the balls in the air with both your left and right hands, using the same movement at the same time with both hands. The balls should pass by one another and each should be the same height while in the air. This is a very tricky technique to learn, so you should start off slow, juggling with three balls at first.

  2. Step 2

Get into a comfortable stance with your feet pointed forward. This will allow you to walk side to side, something that you will have to do while attempting to juggle seven balls at once.

  3. Step 3

Keep your head up and your eyes on where you want to toss each ball into the air. It may be natural to look down and make sure your hands are in the right place, but doing so will most likely cause you to drop at least one ball. You must be able to see all seven balls at all times while they are in the air.

  4. Step 4

Start juggling with four balls in your strong hand (your writing hand) and three in your weak hand.

  5. Step 5

Toss one of the balls in your strong hand up into the air. When this ball is at it's highest point, throw two of the balls in your opposite hand into the air. Continue going back and forth in this manner until you are cycling through each of the seven balls.

Tips & Warnings
  • Remember to keep each ball at the same height when you toss them into the air. This will make juggling each of the seven balls an easier task. Try juggling with four balls first. Then, move on to five, six and eventually seven. Doing this will allow you to fix mistakes during an "easier" juggling assignment, helping to better prepare you for juggling seven balls.
  • Do not get discouraged, as learning to juggle seven balls is a very difficult skill, and can even take you years to perfect. Keep at it and practice every day.
