A pashmina is a great fashionable accessory and can be worn in numerous ways and styles, from around your shoulders, to around your waist. While wearing a turtleneck, it is best to wear the pashmina as a scarf-like belt, as it evens out the heavy appearance of the turtleneck while providing some style around the waist in a modern way. This helps draw people's eyes to the pashmina, than upward to your face.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Pashmina
  • Turtleneck
  • Safety pin, if necessary
  1. Step 1

Choose a turtleneck color that is a good contrast with the color of the pashmina. If you are wearing a black or white turtleneck, spice it up with a brightly colored pashmina.

  2. Step 2

Gather the pashmina fabric together to create one long skinny "scarf".

  3. Step 3

Wrap it around your waist, but not too tightly. Gather the left-over material on one side of your waist, and tie it in a loose knot. Double-knot it if desired for a little fuller appearance of the pashmina "belt".

  4. Step 4

Let the extra material hang down for a little twist. If necessary, secure the knot with a safety pin where it can not be seen.
