How to Record Ringtones on a Sidekick Slide
Unlike many other mobile phones, the Sidekick Slide phone provided by T-Mobile has very limited abilities for transferring music files from a computer. If there is a specific sound or song you want to use as the ring tone on your Sidekick Slide, but you don't want to order the tone directly from T-Mobile, you can instead record your own. The Sidekick Slide comes with a built-in recording feature that allows you to record any sound you want to set as an incoming ring tone sound.

Tips & Warnings
The Sidekick Slide phone will only store 10 ring tones in the "Imported" folder. If you attempt to record an 11th ring tone, it will make you delete one of the old ones before letting you save the new one. If you want more than 10 recorded ring tones, you can move some of the old ones to any of the other ring tone folders that don't have size limits.
