If you want to know how to burn fat fast without a diet, you have to understand the role metabolism plays in weight loss. Metabolism is the key to burning fat as it is the rate at which your body burns calories as energy. The higher your metabolism, the more calories you will burn throughout the day.
With a raised metabolism, you will burn more calories simply by doing nothing. There are many ways to naturally boost your metabolism and thus burn fat. You can easily raise your metabolism without having to starve yourself or go on some sort of strenuous diet.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Exercise if you want to burn fat fast without a diet. It does not take as much exercise as you may think to increase your metabolism and begin to lose weight. Just a 30 minute walk three to four times per week will go a long way toward burning body fat. Not only will you burn fat while walking, but the exercise will stimulate your metabolism for two to three hours afterward.

  2. Step 2

Eat breakfast. Skipping breakfast causes your body to slow its metabolism and hold onto fat stores. By eating a good, healthy breakfast you stimulate your metabolism and get your day started off right.

  3. Step 3

Drink 64 ounces of water per day. Water is essential to the regulation of all bodily functions including metabolism. Water should be consumed throughout the day, eight glasses per day, spaced out as evenly as possible.

  4. Step 4

Eat small meals throughout the day. You don't have to diet to burn fat fast, but it is important to change your eating patterns. Eat five or six smaller meals per day instead of three large meals. This is also to help stimulate your metabolism and to keep your body from storing the excess calories that come from the larger meals as fat.

  5. Step 5

Do not eat for three hours before going to bed. When you sleep, your metabolism slows down. If you eat right before going to bed, those calories are burned slower and they have a higher likelihood of being stored on your body as fat. If you can burn off most of those calories before going to bed, then your body will burn your fat stores throughout the night.

  6. Step 6

Take a Vitamin B12 supplement. Vitamin B12 is a natural energy provider and booster of your metabolism. It can be found in your diet through proteins such as meat, fish and dairy products. If you are a vegetarian, you may already be taking a B12 supplement, as it cannot be found in plants. A Vitamin B12 supplement taken with a meal at breakfast can help you to burn fat throughout the day.

Tips & Warnings
  • The more you exercise, the more fat you will burn and the less you will have to concern yourself with total calories.
  • Try to eat your recommended daily allowances from all four of the basic food groups. You don't have to diet, but if you eat balanced meals, you will get the nutrients needed for an efficiently functioning body and naturally boost your metabolism.
