How to Change the LED Light Color on a BlackBerry 8703
The BlackBerry 8703 device comes with LED notification options pre-programmed in, and there is no option on the menu that will allow you to change the LED color. However, using third-party applications, you can easily customize the LED color of your BlackBerry 8703.

Downloading the BlackBerry Apps Store

Use the trackwheel to select the browser icon on your phone. This is the icon that looks like a globe.

Navigate to the BlackBerry Apps website (see Resources) . Click "OK."

Use the trackwheel to select the download button.

Review the terms and conditions. Then use your trackwheel to click "Download." Click "OK."

After the application has downloaded, click the trackwheel again. Select "Close" to close the browser.
Finding an App

Launch BlackBerry App World by pressing the "Menu" button (the button on the left of the trackwheel that looks like a BlackBerry).

Use the trackwheel to scroll through the list of icons, until you find one that looks like the "Menu" button. This is the BlackBerry App, World App.

Read the terms and conditions, and use the trackwheel to select "I Accept."

On the App World main screen, use the trackwheel to click the "Search" icon, which looks like a magnifying glass.

In the search box, enter "LED." Click the trackwheel and select "Search."

Select one of the available applications that lets you change your LED color.

Select "Purchase," or "Download a Free Trial" if one is available.

Follow the directions to pay for the app using PayPal, if necessary.

Close the browser and go back to your main menu. Select the icon for the application you just downloaded.

Follow the onscreen directions to change your LED light.
