Instructions

    • 1

Place your bamboo plant in a well-lit area, but not directly in the sun because bamboo is easily scorched. The lighting source does not need to be a natural lighting source, as bamboo plants also thrive in artificial light.

    • 2

Periodically add water in the base container of the plant. Water should cover the roots by 2 or 3 inches.

    • 3

Change the water in your bamboo plant when it becomes the least bit cloudy. Replace it with fresh water.

    • 4

If your efforts are not making a difference, try filtering the water with a water filter. Sometimes the chemicals in tap water overwhelm the plant, which needs the water's minerals but is sensitive to the chemicals present.
