Step 1
Create a new document in Photoshop by clicking on "File" and then "New." In the "New" window that opens, in the "Name" field, type a file name that you'll easily remember. Then, set the width and height, set the color mode to RGB and the background color to transparent.

Click on the custom shape tool icon located in the toolbar, which can be found to the left of the screen.

Choose a shape for the center of your TV speaker. To do this go to the "Shape" menu at the top of the screen and click on the small downward arrow. A menu will open. Scroll through the menu and click on your choice.

Draw the shape onto the workspace by moving the cursor from the upper lefthand side, to the lower righthand side, while holding down the mouse button.

Go to the menu palette on the lower righthand corner of the screen. Click on the "Path" tab and then on the right pointing arrow next to it. Choose "Make Selection" in the pop-up menu that appears.

Click "OK" on the new menu that appears. This will highlight the shape that was drawn in Step 4.

Click on the paint bucket on the toolbar. This will choose whatever color is indicated on top, in the two color squares below. If you want a different color, first click on the squares and choose another color.

Move the cursor to the drawing and click it over. The cursor will look like a paint bucket. When you click over the drawing, it will paint the area with the color.

Click on "Select" and then "Deselect" in the upper horizontal menu bar. This will remove the selection around the image, which looks like moving dotted lines.

Create a new layer, by clicking on the "Create a Layer" icon in the lower right hand section of the screen. You will first need to click the "Layer" tab.

Move the new layer below the layer with the drawing. by clicking and dragging. This will put the new layer behind the original.

Click on the rectangular marquee tool in the toolbar.

Click on the blank layer in the lower lefthand layer pallete, and then draw the rectangle around the first image. This will draw on the new, blank layer.

Choose the color for the back of the TV speaker by clicking on the squares in the toolbar.

Color the background after clicking the paint bucket, and then moving the paint bucket cursor over the drawing and clicking.

Save the image by clicking on "File" and then save or save as. Save the image as a JPG file. You can now insert the image into a document, such as Microsoft Word, and resize it. Print the image onto adhesive paper and affix it to cardboard. Cut out the shape.
