How to Raise a Single Eyebrow

Being able to raise just a single eyebrow can be both entertaining and useful, depending on the situation. Whether you're at a Star Trek convention and want to show off in front of your friends, or someone has said something vaguely amusing in ear shot, it can be handy to know how to do. Though it may be challenging at first, you'll get the hang of it quickly enough.

Things You'll Need

• Mirror

Instructions

1. Sit or stand in front of a mirror so that you can see your face.

2. Shift your eye brows up and down a few times, so you can feel what muscles are moving around.

3. Hold just one of your eye brows down with a hand.

4. Try to raise both eye brows. As you're doing so, focus on furrowing just the brow you're holding down, and letting the other one rise.

5. Continue to hold down one eye brow while raising the other, as many times as you can stand.

Tips & Warnings

• You wont get this perfect over night, so be prepared for a week or so of practice, at least.
