How to Design a 3D Room Online
Creating a 3D room online not only allows you to see what a particular room would look like with furniture and paint, but it's also helpful for practicing interior design. Designing a 3D room online can be done with just a few clicks of the mouse.

Visit the "Design My Room" website (see Resources).

Click "Sign Up" at the top-right side of the screen.

Fill out all of the required information and click "Sign Me Up."

Click "Start New Project" at the top of the screen on the navigation bar.

Choose one of the sample rooms you would like to design and allow the design board to load.

Click "Get Started" on the design board screen.

Choose a category from the menu to start designing and placing items in your room.

Save your room after you've finished designing by clicking the disk icon on the right-hand side of the screen.

Tips & Warnings
You can rotate and re-size items by using the icons in the corner of the image. This makes it easier to place items in the room. If you are interested in purchasing any of the furniture that is on the Design My Room website, you will be able to locate the brand name and price of the piece under its photo in the categories.
