How to Fix a Fuji Digital Camera

It isn't uncommon to experience problems with electronic equipment, especially if that equipment is new. Fuji digital cameras are certainly no exception. While they are known for their compact shape and ease of use, they share certain common problems, some of which are serious, but most of which are simply the result of misuse.

1. Make sure your Fuji digital camera's lens is clean and free of smudges. If you are having a problem taking good quality pictures, no matter how you adjust your settings, it could very well be the result of a dirty lens. Use lens-cleaning material to clean the lens, not tissue paper or your shirt.

2. Make sure you are in the right mode. If you can't figure out how to view your photos, it is because you are in "Camera" mode. You need to be in "Playback" or "Review" mode, depending on the model of you Fuji digital camera. If the camera won't let you take pictures, make sure you are back in "Camera" mode.

3. Check the batteries. Low batteries can create a variety of problems. Fuji digital cameras have various power saving modes that can sense when battery power is low---from automatically turning off the screen to disabling the flash. If any of these things are happening, replace the batteries.
