How to Refill a Paint Marker
In order to refill a paint marker, you'll need one that is refillable. The refillable paint markers say "refillable" on the package when you buy them. If your paint marker doesn't come with a refill, you can buy that separately. When you run out of paint in your paint marker during your craft project, you can refill it fairly easily.

1
Inspect the paint marker. Most of them have tubes inside that you can unscrew and take out. Unscrew the tube and take it out of the marker.
-
2
Put the corresponding color refill tube in the paint marker. If you have a yellow paint marker that you're refilling, you'll need a yellow refill tube to put back in the marker. If you refill a yellow marker with a red refill tube, the color coming out of the marker will be a mix of the two.

3
Screw the color refill tube into the marker. If you have the same brand, it should fit. Different brands of the same size might fit as well, but you want to try to find one that's the same brand as your paint marker.

4
Place the cap back on the paint marker, if it's off, and shake it to loosen the paint inside the tube. Try writing with it. If it doesn't write, shake it some more. Do this until the paint marker writes.

If the paint marker still doesn't write, try getting the brush of the marker wet. Put a little water on it and write on a surface that you can get paint on.
