How to Make Cupcake Holders
Making cupcake holders is a craft you can do in less than 30 minutes, and it is easy enough for kids to do. The supplies you'll need are likely items you'll be able to find around the house, and they are inexpensive if you do need to buy them. Decorated cupcake holders can add to the overall decor of the party, and can be created to go along with any theme. This type of decoration can also be made suitable for any age group. Things You'll Need
- Paper disposable cups
- Scissors
- Ruler
- Craft paper
- White glue
- Craft brush
- Paper clips

Measure the height of the cupcake with a ruler.

Measure the height and circumference of the paper cup ring. You'll need a paper or cloth ruler to do this. If you don't have either of those, you can wrap a piece of string around the paper ring, and then measure the piece of string.

Pour some white craft glue into a disposable cup, and add a small amount of water to dilute the glue. Use a popsicle stick or craft brush to mix the glue and water mixture.

Use a craft brush to spread the glue over the outside of the paper cup ring.

Cover the paper ring with the craft paper. Use paper clips on the top and the bottom of the ring to hold the paper in place until the glue dries.

Let the rings sit until the glue is completely dry, and you can remove the paper clips.

Slide the paper holders over the bottom of the cupcakes. Decorate the tops of the cupcakes.

Tips & Warnings
You can also choose to decorate the paper holders with glitter, sticky jewels or let your kids color them before you put them on the cupcakes.
Make sure the glue is completely dry before you put the holders on the cupcakes. It is important not to decorate the cupcakes until they are in the holders, so the frosting doesn't get all over.
