If you are a barber or stylist, you must keep your hair combs clean, disinfected and bug-free to protect your business and reputation. Even at home it is important to clean your hair combs, especially if members in your family share them. Children and teens frequently share combs and other hair accessories with their friends. To help reduce the chances of spreading lice and other scalp conditions you may want to clean your hair combs after friends spend the night.

Tips & Warnings
  • Keep your Barbicide jar in a high area, out of reach of children and pets, where it cannot get knocked over easily. Barbicide is a pretty blue which may attract children.
  • Do not leave combs in Barbicide for more than two or three minutes or the combs will become soft and sticky and you will have to throw them away. Keep Barbicide out of reach of children, do not inhale vapors, allow skin contact, or get into eyes.
