How to Clean Lincoln Mark VIII Headlights

Things You'll Need:

• White toothpaste
• Clean cloth
• Rubbing compound
• Carburetor cleaner
• WD-40
• Drill

Several Simple Suggestions

1. Apply white toothpaste to a soft clean cloth and wipe the entire lens with it. Rinse the toothpaste away with clean water and buff the lens to shine with a soft clean cloth.

2. Use a dry clean cloth to apply a rubbing compound to the lens. Use a separate clean cloth to buff the shine back.

3. Spay carburetor cleaner on a soft clean cloth and wipe the lens. Use a separate dry clean cloth to buff the shine back.

4. Polish the lens with a soft clean cloth sprayed with WD-40.

5. Drill a small hole in the bottom of the lens to alleviate condensation which can fog up the lens.
