How to Pay BSNL Telephone Bills Online

You can pay your BSNL phone bill online.

The Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd. (BSNL) telecommunications company provides Internet and cellular phone services to individuals as well as large-scale land-line services to businesses located in India. If your mobile or land-line phone bill is due soon and you don't have enough time to mail the payment or go to a local office, you can pay the bill online with your credit card.

Instructions

1. Go to the BSNL website (see Resources).

2. Click on the "New User" link and enter your name, address, desired user name and password in the text boxes. Click on the "Submit" button to finish registering as a new user.

3. Type in the user name and password in the corresponding text boxes, and then click on "Submit" to log in to your new account. Click on "Cellphone bill payments (All India)." Scroll down through the list of links at the center of the screen, and click on the link labeled "View/Pay Outstanding Bills."

4. Click on the drop-down menu and select the location nearest to where you live. Click on the "Do you want to add an account?" link at the center of the page. Type in your cell phone number and account number, and then click "Submit." Return to the bill-payment page and click on your account number.

5. Enter your credit card account number and expiration date in the corresponding text boxes. Enter the email address to which you want the payment confirmation sent in the "E-mail" text box. Type the amount you want to pay in the next text box, and click "Make Payment" to finish paying your BSNL bill online.

Tips & Warnings

• Your BSNL account number can be found near the top of your monthly billing statement or by calling the customer service line and providing the representative with your phone number and address.
