How to Create a Website With Telus
-
1
Purchase a shared hosting website package with Telus. Shared hosting simply means that you are being hosted on the same server as other websites versus having your own dedicated server. When you purchase a shared-hosting package, Telus will often throw in a domain name at no extra cost. Choose a domain name for your website. If Telus does not offer a free domain name, you can buy one from another company, such as NetFirms, which offers domain names as low as $6.99 per year.
-
2
Log into your Telus web hosting control panel at TelusHosting.com. Click on the "Website Builders" folder at the top left of your screen.
-
-
3
Select the prebuilt Telus template you would like to use. Telus offers flash and HTML templates. Select a flash template if you want your site to appear more vivid and high-tech. Select an HTML template for a simple and clean design.
-
