How to Make Popcorn Seasoning Stick

Popcorn is a healthy snack and you can make your own at home cheaply by using a hot air popcorn popper, but if you want to season your popcorn, you might notice that the salt and spices will not stick to air popped popcorn. Things You'll Need

  • Air popped popcorn
  • Large bowl
  • Large spoon
  • Seasonings (see Tips for ideas)
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

      Place the popcorn into a large mixing bowl.

      Lightly spray the top of the popcorn with cooking spray.

      Sprinkle the seasonings on top of the popcorn.

      Stir the popcorn to expose the kernels at the bottom. Spray those with a light coating of cooking spray and add another sprinkle of seasoning.

      Stir the popcorn to coat and serve.

Tips & Warnings

  • You can use Parmesan cheese, salt and pepper, chili powder, Cajun spice seasoning, Old Bay, ranch dressing mix, or even cinnamon and sugar to coat your popcorn.
