If your child has a Feber ride on vehicle, it will operate on either a 6 volt or 12 volt battery. Generally, two passenger cars will have a 12 volt battery and single person cars will have a 6 volt battery. Your child will be able to ride his car for 2 to 3 hours on a single charge, but it can take 10 - 15 hours to charge it. All Feber ride on vehicles come packaged with a battery charger. Here is how to use it.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Feber ride on vehicle
  • 6 or 12 volt battery charger which came with the car
  • 6 or 12 volt battery in the ride on car
  1. Step 1

Open the battery compartment on your child's vehicle. Depending upon which model you have, this could be a panel on the bottom, under the seat, or in the back, or it could be under the hood of the car.

  2. Step 2

Clip the plastic lead from the battery charger onto the plastic lead attached to the battery.

  3. Step 3

Plug the battery charger into an electrical outlet.

  4. Step 4

Let the battery charge in the car (or you can remove the battery if desired) for 12 - 15 hours.

  5. Step 5

Unplug the charger from the outlet, and disconnect the plastic lead from the charger to the battery. Your child will be able to run the car for 2 to 3 hours off of a full charge.
