Things You'll Need:
-
Step 1
Measure from the outside edge of the trampoline frame to the edge of the frame directly across from it. Write down the measurement.
-
Step 2
Walk a quarter turn around the trampoline and take another measurement from one edge of the trampoline frame to the opposite side. Your two measurements should form an "X" on the trampoline. Write down the measurement.
-
Step 3
Add the two measurements together and divide by two. This will give you the average diameter of your round trampoline.
-
Step 1
Standing at the middle of one side of the trampoline, measure from the outside edge of the frame to the edge of the frame directly across from it. Write down the measurement.
-
Step 2
Walk a quarter turn to the second side of the trampoline. Take another measurement from one edge of the frame to the opposite side.
-
Step 3
Write down the measurement. You need both the length and the width to order a rectangular or square trampoline pad.
-
Step 1
Measure from the outside edge of one corner or "point" of the trampoline frame across the middle to the corner directly across from it.
-
Step 2
Write down the measurement. You only need this measurement to order a octagonal, hexagonal or polygonal trampoline pad.
-
Step 3
Make sure the replacement pad has the same number of sides---for example, eight sides for an octagonal trampoline---so the new pad will fit correctly.
