Things You'll Need:
- Razor blade
- Needle-nosed pliers
-
Step 1
Find the corner tint that is the most loose on your back window. This will help you peel the tint off easier. If there isn't a loose end on your back window, you can carefully cut a slit in the corner tint and scrape up an end with a razor blade.
-
Step 2
Take your thumb and forefinger or a pair of needle-nosed pliers and grab hold of the loose corner. From here, slowly and carefully pull on the tint. Doing it quickly will rip the tint and cause stray pieces to stay on the window.
-
Step 3
Peel the tint off until the largest part, or most of it, is completely off.
-
Step 4
Inspect the back window for stray pieces that didn't come off and get up underneath them carefully with your razor blade. Once they're loose enough, grab them with your fingers or the pliers and remove them.
-
Step 5
Check all the corners and the very edges of all four sides of your back window. Stray pieces can hide from you and they're a pain to get off when you don't have the proper tools on you.
-
Step 6
Wash off your back window. This will help loosen up any stray pieces of tint you may have missed as well as help get off any stickiness left behind from the tint, though there shouldn't be any. Tint really isn't sticky---it works mostly through static reactions.
