Any alcoholic drink that is blended with crushed ice or poured into ice is considered to be a "frozen drink." Purists feel that a true "frozen" drink must be mixed with crushed ice, but this no longer holds true. Frozen drinks are great during the summer, and can be an "ice-breaker" at a party. Frozen drinks include margaritas, mud-sides, coladas or any alcoholic beverage that's made with ice. Does this Spark an idea?

Things You'll Need

  • For a Brandied Peaches and Cream:
  • ¾ oz. peach schnapps
  • ½ oz. peach brandy
  • 1 oz. cream of coconut
  • 1 scoop vanilla ice cream
  • 8 oz. crushed ice
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • Blender
  • For a Bailey's Mudslide:
  • 4 oz. Bailey's Irish Cream
  • ½ oz. Smirnoff No.21 Vodka
  • ½ oz. Godiva Chocolate Liqueur

Instructions

  1. Bailey's Mudslide

    • 1

      Combine Irish crème, vodka, chocolate liqueur and ice in a blender.

      Blend well until the consistency is smooth.

      Pour into two 6 oz. glasses.

    Brandied Peaches and Cream

    • 4

      Combine schnapps, peach brandy, cream of coconut, ice cream and 8 oz. of crushed ice in a blender.

      Blend well until the consistency is smooth.

    • 6

      Pour into two 6 oz. glasses.

    • 7

      Garnish the drink with a cinnamon stick.
