How to Use Egg As a Protein Supplement
Without proper nutrition within your diet, even the best efforts to lose weight or build muscle can be lost. Building lean muscle means that your body will need good proteins to heal and eventually build the muscle you are working. One solution that has been around for a long time is supplementing egg as a protein in your diet.

Boil some eggs. If you are someone who is continuously on the go, then you may not have a lot of time to cook your eggs everyday. One solution is to boil your eggs ahead of time and store them for later consumption. After you have boiled your eggs, peel away the shells and store them in a plastic sealing bag and put them in the refrigerator. This should keep a protein-packed meal ready whenever you need them for about 4 days.

Consider eggs instead of designer protein. There are many designer proteins on the market that can be taken for their protein benefits. The truth is however, that many of these designer proteins use eggs as a benchmark or the main ingredient in their formulas. Eggs are not only a great source of protein, providing about 6 grams each on average, but they are also packed with essential vitamins. Among the protein benefits eggs provide, they are also reliable sources of selenium, riboflavin, choline, lutein, Vitamin B, Vitamin A and Vitamin E, all essential building blocks for the body and immune system.

Remove some of the cholesterol. Unfortunately, there is a drawback to supplementing protein in your diet with eggs and that is that eggs are a hefty source of cholesterol. Cholesterol is a bad blood-fat level found in the circulatory system and each egg contains about 212 mg while the daily recommendation is 300 mg. This can easily be thwarted by removing the yolk (yellow) of your eggs which can remove a large majority of the cholesterol content and still provide you with large amounts of protein and vitamins.

Forget the frying pan. Although there are a lot of healthy benefits of protein supplementation with eggs, you don't want to hinder the process by adding bad fats or oils in with your eggs. Try to avoid frying your eggs with grease and use a non-stick pan to scramble them instead. If you insist on frying your eggs with oil, then using olive oil will be the healthiest option.

Avoid taking them Rocky Balboa-Style. It may look cool in the movies when you see a boxer training and the first thing they do when they wake up is slam a few raw eggs in a cup and choke them down. In truth, however, this can have bad repercussions, such as salmonella poisoning, which can lead to death if untreated. Avoid this by simply cooking your eggs. The cooking process does not compromise the protein and vitamin benefits.

Tips & Warnings
Take eggs as a supplement at least once a day and preferably in the morning as it is a slow-burning food that will power you for a long time. If you have scrambled eggs, then use one whole egg mixed with extra whites. Your egg dish will be more filling and healthier.
Before you supplement with eggs, ensure you have no allergic reactions to them.
