How to Make Music Ringtones for Pantech Matrix

The Pantech Matrix is a cell phone available to people on the AT&T network. AT&T subscribers can purchase ringtones for the Matrix directly from AT&T. To save money, make your own Pantech Matrix music ringtones.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Go to the "Make Your Own" section on the Myxer website (see Resources).

  2. Step 2

    Click "Browse" to choose a song. Select any music that is saved on your computer. Double-click the song of your choice and click the green "Upload" tab. A small window will open in the middle of the browser.

  3. Step 3

    Change the song's starting point for your Pantech Matrix music ringtone. Click inside the "Start" text box and type in a number (how many seconds in the song should start).

  4. Step 4

    Set the length of the Pantech Matrix music ringtone. Click inside the "Length" box and enter a value. Your Pantech Matrix ringtone should be between 15 and 30 seconds in length. Click "Continue."

  5. Step 5

    Type your phone number into the "Phone Number" box. Click "Send to Phone."

  6. Step 6

    Wait while the Pantech Matrix ringtone is completed. When it is, your Pantech Matrix will receive a text message from the Myxer website. At the same time, two windows will open on the screen with detailed instructions. Follow these instructions to download and save your new ringtone.

Tips & Warnings
  • AT&T may charge you for the text message received from Myxer, depending on your cell phone plan.
