Personal ringtones are very popular among cell phones today. Unfortunately, many cell phone carriers do not provide free ringtones for their subscribers. However, there is a website that will send free ringtones to your Samsung JetSet, as long as you have text and picture messaging enabled on your phone. You can get free ringtones with a few clicks of the mouse.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Visit Myxer (see Resources), and click "Sign Up" at the top of the screen.

  2. Step 2

Choose "Personal Account." Enter all of your account information including your phone number (your phone number is needed to send ringtones) and the make of your phone (Samsung JetSet).

  3. Step 3

Click on "Create Account," and verify your account by entering the Pin number that is sent to your Samsung JetSet cell phone via text message.

  4. Step 4

Search for the ringtone that you would like to send to your phone. Click on it.

  5. Step 5

Press the play button on the player to listen to the ringtone. If you wish to have a different part of the song as a ringtone, click "Customize it first," and slide the bars to the part of the song you want. If the verse is fine, click "Send to phone."

  6. Step 6

Wait for the ringtone to be sent to your phone via text message. Open the text message, choose "Download" and then press "OK" on your phone. Allow it to download. Choose "Options" and then "Save Sound". Enter the title of the song, and press "OK."

Tips & Warnings
  • You may also upload your own songs to the Myxer website.
  • Myxer does not charge for use of the services, but if your text and/or picture messaging costs money, those rates still apply. If you have unlimited text and picture messaging, you will not be charged additionally for any of the Myxer ringtones unless specified on the site.
