Instructions

    • 1

Place a piece of wrapper paper on a hard surface with the decorative side facing down. Then place a box, which you will use as a form for your gift bag, on top of the paper.

    • 2

Wrap the box like a gift. Leave enough paper to fully wrap one side. Cut the other side, which will become the top of your bag, at your desired bag height.

    • 3

Fold the right side of your wrapping paper into the center. With your fingers, make hard creases in the right top and bottom sides.

    • 4

Fold the left side of your wrapping paper into the center. Cut any excess paper away. Make the same hard creases in the top and bottom sides of the paper.

    • 5

Line the edge of the right side pulled into the center with hot glue.

    • 6

Press the left side into it.

    • 7

Wrap the bottom half like a present. Use hot glue to hold the folded paper together instead of tape.

    • 8

Slide the box out of the gift wrap.

    • 9

Pinch both sides with your thumb and index finger to create a gift bag shape.

    • 10

Make two small holes at the top of the bag on the front and back sides.

    • 11

Place yarn through the holes and knot to secure your handles.
