Things You'll Need:
- Gray eye shadow
- White eye shadow
- Round and angled eye shadow brushes
-
Step 1
Use both colors together to create the smokey eye look. Dab gray shadow into the crease using a round eye shadow brush and blend outwards towards the temples. Use another round shadow brush dipped in white shadow to highlight the brow bone.
-
Step 2
Dip the tip of a slanted eyeliner brush in water. Use the damp brush to define the lower and upper lash lines in gray shadow. Dab tiny dots of shadow between the lashes to create a soft line. Alternatively, use short strokes to draw a fuller line from the inner corner to the outer corner. For a more pronounced look, connect the two lines at the outer corner of each eye to form an inverted "V" shape.

Step 3
Sweep white shadow onto the area surrounding the tear duct in order to visually open up the eyes. This technique works regardless of what color of shadow you use on your lids.
