How to Make Candy Bouquet Mugs
Candy bouquet mugs can be a fun, inexpensive gift. You can make them yourself so they are truly personalized for the recipients. Most discount stores have a selection of oversized mugs, which are great for the base, and you can usually buy bags of hard candy or bulk candy bars very inexpensively too. To get started, choose a mug and the gift recipient's favorite candies, and follow these simple instructions.
Things You'll Need
- Mug
- Candy-can be individually wrapped hard candies, candy bars, lollipops, or an assortment
- Floral foam or Styrofoam
- Bamboo skewers
- Tape
- Tissue paper
- Curling ribbon
- Scissors
- Gift tag or card (optional)

Place a piece of floral foam or Styrofoam in the bottom of the mug.

Tape bamboo skewers to the backs of candy bars and pieces of candy. If desired, you can also tape a skewer to the back of a gift tag or small card to be placed among the candy.

Poke the pointy ends of the bamboo skewers into the floral foam or Styrofoam so that the candy sticks up out of the mug to create the bouquet.

Crinkle tissue paper and place it in the bottom of the mug and around the bamboo skewers to hide the foam.

Curl some ribbons with the scissors, and tie them around the skewers and the handle of the mug for a festive look.
