Create an eye-catching headline for your apartment rental ad on Craigslist. Include as many descriptive words as possible, which will make the apartment sound desirable such as: Large, Renovated, New, Open concept, etc.

In the body of the rent ad, make sure to list the basic information such as monthly rent and security deposit (if required) as well as the date the apartment will be available. Describe the layout of the apartment and its features, the number of bedrooms and bathrooms, laundry and parking. The more descriptive your ad, the better the response rate will be.

To increase the amount of responses, take the time to add pictures that show the best parts of the apartment. When shooting pictures of the apartment unit, make sure to have plenty of lighting by opening all the shades and turning on all the lights.
