How to Make Ribbon Key Chains

Ribbons make a key chain stand out. Use various colored ones for a bold key chain that will be hard to lose in your bag.

Things You'll Need

• Ribbons in different colors
• Key ring
• Scissors

Instructions

1. 

   Cut pieces of ribbon into relatively equal strands.

2. 

   Fold the ribbons in half. Place the top loop behind your key ring. Leave the loop exposed in the center of the key ring.

3. 

   Pull the tails of the ribbon in front of the key ring, and stick through the loop. Pull to make the slipknot tight. Make a regular knot with the tails afterward to make the ribbon more secure.

4. 

   Repeat this process with all of your ribbons until the key ring is almost completely covered in ribbons.

5. 

   Place your keys on a smaller key ring. Attach that key ring to your ribbon-adorned key chain.
