Create a poster about hope to inspire and motivate. Use famous quotations of hope by people who have struggled and overcome difficult challenges. Hang the poster on a wall or display it as a reminder that optimism, faith, persistence and opportunities are some of the driving forces that influence success.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • White card stock -- 8 1/2 inches by 11 inches
  • Computer and printer
  • 5 or 6 famous quotations on hope
  • Frame -- 16 inches by 20 inches
  • Colored mat board -- 16 inches by 20 inches
  • Double-sided tape
  1. Step 1

Using the computer in a Word program, type each desired quotation about hope in a large font from the list available. Select and change the color of the quotation lettering. Add the name of the person who is credited with the quotation in smaller font size under the quotation to the right (see illustration in introduction).

  2. Step 2

Type another famous quotation on hope in a different font size and color. Add the name of the person who is credited with the quotation in smaller font size under the quotation to the right. Continue typing other quotations on hope in different font sizes and colors until the page is full.

  3. Step 3

Print the newly created hope poster on the printer.

  4. Step 4

Lay the colored mat board on a work table. Apply an inch of double-sided tape on the back of the printed hope poster in each corner. Turn the poster over and press it centered on the mat board.

  5. Step 5

Insert the hope poster on the mat board into the frame and close. Hang on the wall or display on a table.

Tips & Warnings
  • The hope poster can be printed to fit into any standard size frames as desired such as 11 inches by 14 inches, 16 inches by 20 inches or 18 inches by 24 inches and taking into consideration the mat board to hold the poster to enhance it. Famous quotations on hope can be found in books through research at the library, at bookstores and on the Internet.
