There are many ways to eat goji berries, but first you have to find them. If you are lucky enough to live near a specialty grocery or health store, you can likely purchase a bag of dried goji berries. The Internet is always an option for finding dried goji berries. Here is how to eat them once you get them home.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Dried goji berries
  • Water
  • Microwavable cup or bowl
  • Microwave oven
  1. Step 1

Change your thinking of goji berries. Look at them as exotic raisins instead of dried goji berries. This will allow you to be more receptive to the notion of using them in your daily cooking.

  2. Step 2

Eat dried goji berries straight out of the bag. You can also add them to trail mix, oatmeal, or granola as you would raisins.

  3. Step 3

Cook with goji berries by plumping them. This is a process that is an optional step, but it lets the goji berries become more juicy and tender. You can do the same thing with raisins or other dried fruits before adding them to your recipes.

  4. Step 4

Place the goji berries in a microwave safe bowl and cover with water.

  5. Step 5

Heat the berries in the microwave on HIGH for 1 minute. Let them sit in the warm water for 10 minutes before draining and adding to cereal, cookies, rice pilaf, or muffins.
