How to Use a Sakar Digital Camera

The Sakar KeyChain Digital camera is a tiny compact device that can be used to take CIF resolution (352 by 288 pixels) photos.       Insert your installation CD into the CD-ROM drive. Do not connect your camera to the computer. On the "Install Your Camera Software" page, select your camera model, then click "Install" to install PhoTag Express, followed by PhoTag Webcam Express and the camera drivers. Once the installation is complete, restart your computer.

      Set your camera to auto-shoot mode. Press the "Function" button to select the "St" function, then press the "Shutter" button within 5 seconds to activate the 10-second timer. After 10 seconds, the camera will beep twice, indicating that your photo has been taken.

      Perform AVI continuous capture. Press "Function" to select "d8," then press the "Shutter" button within 5 seconds to activate continuous capture. Release the shutter button only when you want to stop shooting. The camera will beep as each photo is taken until the shutter button is released or the memory runs out.

      Press "Function" to open the camera to take photos. Once the LCD has lightened, frame your subject, then press the "Shutter" button to take your pictures. The buzzer beep indicates you have taken a photo.

      Download images to your computer. Plug the USB cable into your camera and plug the other end to a USB port on your computer. Turn on the camera, then double-click on the "PhoTag Express" icon from your desktop to launch your program.

      Click "Get Photos" from the main menu. When the "Get Photos Wizard" appears, make sure your camera model is highlighted in the "Active Devices" category, then click "Next." Select the location to place your pictures, then click "Finish." When your pictures are done uploading, they will appear in "Select Photos" mode's main window.
